Music Moment šŸŽµ

There’s something powerful about rhythm.
During our weekly music sessions, we see residents connect in incredible ways—tapping along, singing, smiling, and engaging with those around them.

Moments like these remind us that connection can happen in many forms.

All of us here at The Pinnacle want to wish our amazing Maintenance Director, Rusty, the very best as he prepares to start an exciting new chapter! We are so grateful for the care, dedication, smiles, and laughter, he has brought to our community, and we will certainly miss our "Trusty Rusty"!

Because of his departure, we are now accepting applications for a new Maintenance Director to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and beautiful community for our residents, families, and staff.

If you are dependable, hands-on, and passionate about making a difference, we would love to hear from you.

ā¤ļøBehind every small win is a dedicated team ā¤ļø

Our in-house therapy team works closely with residents to support strength, balance, and daily function—all within the comfort of their home environment.

This consistency helps build trust and allows progress to happen at a natural, supportive pace.

Therapy Tip Tuesday šŸ’Ŗ

Small movements can make a big difference.
Encouraging slow, intentional movements—like standing tall, taking big steps, and pausing between transitions—can help support balance and reduce fall risk for those living with Parkinson’s.

Consistency is key, and even simple daily practice adds up over time.

šŸ’™April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month šŸ’™

Parkinson’s affects more than movement—it can also impact memory, mood, and daily routines. That’s why specialized support matters.

In our secure memory care community, we focus on structure, consistency, and meaningful engagement to help residents feel safe, supported, and understood.

Follow along this month for more on how we support our residents living with Parkinson’s and their families, here at The Pinnacle of Louisville.
