Franciscan Health Care went full Casino mode this afternoon! Nothing like a little Blackjack, Poker, and plenty of laughs to unwind on a Friday afternoon. We had such a blast rolling the dice, spinning the wheel, dealing cards together with family and friends of Franciscan. The chips were down and stakes were high, and the fun was off the charts! Our talented residents and patients have been busy creating some beautiful canvas paintings that truly showcase their artistic spirits. We've also been having a blast with jigsaw puzzle games, brain-teasing games, and our residents and patients love the mental stimulation and friendly competitiveness. At Fran, art and craft are not just hobbies, they are a pathway to creativity, communication and self-expression.

What a perfect day for our picnic yesterday. The weather couldn't have been better. It was so refreshing and so nice to relax outdoors, and enjoy each other's company away from the usual routine. Loved seeing all the smiles and laughter throughout. Yummy sandwiches, cool drinks and great weather, nothing could beat that combination!!!

What a wonderful afternoon we had celebrating the 4th of July at Fran's Healthcare campus. There's something truly special about bringing together our residents, patients, dedicated staff and families to honor our nation's independence, while enjoying some "dogs" and "burgers", accompanied by ice-cold lemonade drinks. Singing our nation's patriotic songs reminded us about how great and precious our freedoms are.
Today reminded us that patriotism isn't just about flags and fireworks - it's also about our seniors who served their societies, and the staff who show up every day to care for our seniors.
The smiles, the laughter, and the sense of togetherness made this celebration unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this Independence Day memorable. Here's to the land of the Free and the Home of the Brave!!! 💝 💝
