Vanguard Cleaning Systems of Louisville is a franchising leader in the commercial cleaning industry in the Louisville metro area. With over 10 years of experience, we've built a strong reputation across the Louisville metro area by supporting our network of independently owned franchisees. Today, our franchisees service more than 150 commercial facilities in the region.

We’re looking for a proactive, curious, and persuasive individual who enjoys learning about businesses, engaging with decision-makers, and helping connect them to tailored service solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for research, sales strategy, and outreach.
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads from our database of unclosed proposals and high-value prospects. Your mission: open doors, build relationships, and schedule meetings with decision-makers to present our cleaning and facility services.
What You’ll Do
• Prospect Research: Use tools like Google Maps, LinkedIn, company websites, and local business publications to identify and research potential clients in target industries.
• Lead Qualification: Assess potential leads to ensure they align with our service capabilities and long-term client success criteria.
• Outreach & Engagement: Connect with decision-makers via email, phone, and social media to build rapport, understand their needs, and schedule meetings with our Regional Director.
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions, follow-ups, and pipeline status in our CRM system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our sales team to refine targeting strategies and ensure strong handoffs to the closing team.

What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of consultative sales or business development experience (internal or external)
• Strong research and outreach skills using online tools and social platforms
• Comfortable working with CRMs and other online productivity tools
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong sense of initiative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week), working in-office Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
