Carl Lamont “Boo” Jackson was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 8, 1971, to the late James Wallace and Mary Jackson. He passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025. Raised in Louisville, Carl was known for his quick wit and infectious laugh.
A graduate of Valley High School, Carl later married ETonya Lavette Thomas. He was a laborer, holding many jobs, including Swift Meat Company and Frito Lay, to name a few. Outside of work, Carl loved spending time with family and friends – he especially enjoyed being a grandfather.
Carl was preceded in death by his father, James Wallace; brother, Anthony “Tae” Jackson and two grandchildren: Cialee Jackson and Zakari Britton.
Carl is survived by his wife, Etonya Jackson; his Mother, Mary Jackson; his siblings Jaymes Laurence Moten, Michael Jackson, Sr. and Erin Anderson; his children: Cornell Hamilton, Carl Jackson, Jr., Ras’J Britton, R’Zhad Britton, Shertrista, Ann’Gee, LaTerrance and Shameal Thomas and Curtisha Simms; 17 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Carl’s spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
