Exciting news from Green Hill Therapy- we just completed a comprehensive audit of many of the internal systems and processes that make our organization tick. We found out so many great things! We confirmed that patients love us, parents love us, pediatricians love us, volunteers love us, and our staff loves working here. Even OT/PT students rank Green Hill Therapy as the #1 most desired organization for internships!
We also found some opportunities. For example, most nonprofits our size get about 30% of their annual funding from donors who have signed up for monthly giving. Some of the best groups have closer to 80% of their supporters giving monthly. Monthly, automatic donations are powerful because they provide a consistent financial foundation that allows organizations to grow and plan responsibly. Over the last three years, Green Hill only had 1 donor giving monthly. This is largely because we have not asked or explained the value of these gifts to the mission.
