As a reminder, Vanguard Surgical is dedicated exclusively to the medical and surgical management of gastroparesis patients. To clarify the latest rumor, we take all insurance except Humana and Ambetter of KY. For these patients, we offer reduced cash-pay fees. We also are partnered with CareCredit and Advanced Care Card. CONGRATS TO OUR LATEST GASTROPARESIS "GRADUATE"!

She has regained control of her life after outpatient laparoscopic pyloroplasty followed by outpatient laparoscopic gastric stimulator placement by Dr. Hughes.

Prior to surgery, she was always nauseated and was vomiting every day. Bloating and pain were severe.

After the surgeries and a couple gastric stimulator adjustments, nausea is rare and she no longer vomits. Bloating and pain have resolved.

While not everyone has such a good response, her response was somewhat expected as she had well preserved interstitial cells of Cajal (CD117 12.2/hpf; well preserved is >4/hpf, moderately depleted is 2-4/hpf, and severely depleted is
