Thank you to Jennifer Collins and Amanda Green with Healthcare Therapy Services, Inc. for leading this month’s Community Education Series and introducing OneStep, our new AI-powered technology for better balance and mobility!

Their presentation highlighted how this groundbreaking smart app analyzes 33 components of balance and movement in real time – helping predict and prevent falls before they happen. It was an exciting look at how innovation can support safety, independence, and overall well-being for older adults.

✨Celebrating Longevity & Impact✨
On September 11, the University of Louisville Trager Institute hosted the Gold Standard of Optimal Aging Award Ceremony, recognizing remarkable individuals for their lifelong contributions.
We are proud to share that two of our very own were among this year’s honorees:
🌟 Glenda Hodges Cook – a dedicated advocate for meditation and environmental justice who continues to share her practice and wisdom with the community.
🌟 Jim Jenkins – former mayor of Shively, whose leadership and collaboration with the community helped make Shively a safer place for all.
Congratulations to Glenda and Jim for this well-deserved honor! 💛
