Hugo was first admitted to Green Meadows in March, following a hospital stay, and was dependent for all care and functional tasks.

After a medical setback that required another hospital stay, Hugo returned to Green Meadows in May to begin his rehab journey over again. He was determined to gain strength and walk again so that he could return home.

Hugo had a strong support system that encouraged him daily. Hugo and his therapist worked together to build his strength while implementing the adaptations he would need to be independent.

On August 16, Hugo was able to walk out of Green Meadows and return to his home.
