How two regular guys ended up with the best momma anyone could ask for, its miracle.
Baby bro was born on my 5th birthday severely disabled and didn’t breath for ten minutes. They said he wasn’t to supposed to have made it and would not live to see 30.
This changed our lives forever.
Jason did not sit up for two years, and in the 70s, there was much less understanding. Mom had to help him 24/7 and we had to figure out how best to help Jason develop.
I remember when I was a wee lad, I figured placing him on an exercise ball would make his core stronger, and I did they everyday with him.
Years later when I become a professional wellness coach, this had become a proven way to improve your core.
Mom was the real hero, she did everything she could to make sure he developed as much as possible Inding getting him into special Olympics - She became a coach and I helped out
I have always been a lone wolf and dance to the beat if my own drum (according to all my teachers) but mom was always there if I ever needed anything and Jason was constantly going to drs his entire life, he was very very sick.
I don’t have the words to explain how much I miss her… she was such an incredible bright light in a harsh world and I hope I have some of that in me to pass on to others as she did me.
I do my best to mentor and pass on to others as we were not blessed with children.
We all need a light house at time to light our way back home -
Today, if I am honest - I might allow my face to leak some, but mostly I want to celebrate her incredible life …
To know my mom was to love her- she emanated love and light and I never heard her say a bad thing about anyone in my entire life.
