Our Residents have created ice cream cone canvas's using barbasol shaving cream, glue, and food coloring. They turned out super cute and they loved them. We cooked cowboy beans in the crockpot and enjoyed them at lunch. We had a visit from the Holy Roller church group that came to sing to us. Today for Happy hour we will be watching a movie.

This week, our residents made fancy bedazzled fish out of CDs. We made Peanut butter energy balls, and the residents made thank-you cards for our first responders, which were dropped off at local Police and Fire departments on 9/11.
We celebrated Ms. Mary's and Mr. Ken's birthdays.

Park Terrace residents created some charming candy corn canvas art this week, getting into the fall spirit. Then, we made individual ice cream cakes. We used ice cream sandwiches as the base, then layered them with caramel, chocolate, nuts, and whipped cream, and topped them with another ice cream sandwich. Church ladies visited this week for some singing, and we have a happy hour this afternoon with Mike Hutchins.

Park Terrace Life enrichment department and the residents have been super busy lately, with activities including crafts for the residents, cooking, and making back-to-school gifts for teachers that we delivered to Stonestreet Elementary School.
We have made Dragonflies from clothespins, decorated rice krispies treats for teachers, and also made snack bags that look like pencils for teachers.
Residents made themselves sunshine salad, which consisted of Mandarin oranges, pineapples, bananas, marshmallows, vanilla pudding, and whipped cream.

Last week at Park Terrace our residents made hot air balloon canvas' using bubble wrap and paint. We also created new centerpieces for our dining room. The residents made bacon wrapped mozzarella sticks in the air fryer that we enjoyed for a before lunch snack with some marinara sauce. Also we made new age bingo cards to play in the afternoon.

On Saturday, we celebrated one of our residents' birthdays with a family-hosted party that invited all our residents and staff. The party featured karaoke, food, and cakes. On Tuesday, we created initial art, and on Wednesday, we made fruit pizza cookies. We love trying new things at Park Terrace. Our residents and staff are always exploring ideas for things we haven't done yet.

Hello from our residents at Park Terrace Health Center. We've been busy creating new crafts for the 4th of July and trying out some new recipes. As always, we also love our game time.

We created 4th of July streamers for our apartment doors, we created stress balls with balloons and flour, and we painted seashells.
We made an American flag taco dip as well as a Cookie Monster dip.

We have had a busy couple weeks at Park Terrace. Our residents have made art using stratch sheets, Bee's and Lady Bugs from can good cans, stained glass using frames, we've painted sea shells. Also we love to cook so we have made Egg salad, strawberry cheesecake dip and Potato salad. They have been exercising with resistant bands and also attending church services.
