Thank you Truist for bringing the Bingo FUN! We absolutely enjoying one of our favorite games with a learning twist! Plus candy was one of the prizes!

Truist brought with them a vast knowledge of scam and fraud prevention tips, as well as delicious pizza! Needless to say we had a fantastic time!

Happy Spiritual Care Week! Our Chaplain Jennifer is one of a kind! We are so grateful for the weekly bible studies she hosts, the food pantry she devotes herself to, and the compassionate way she leads our entire community. Thank you Chaplain Jennifer!

In recognition of national Spiritual Care Week, we celebrate and honor our Christian Care Chaplains. These remarkable individuals work hard daily, caring for our residents, staff, and families' spiritual, physical, and emotional needs in the tradition of Faith - Care - Family. They come alongside us during hardship and celebrate the victories, big and small, in the lives of the Christian Care Family. If you know a Chaplain or a spiritual care leader in your community, take the opportunity to thank them and serve them this week!

We are grateful for our volunteer Ellen from LifeBridge Christian Center! Each month, Ellen runs a gift shop for the residents of Friendship House and Chapel House with necessities and gift items that the residents can purchase at cost. It’s also an informal social time, where friends get a chance to catch up with one another. 😊 Thank you to Ellen for her dedication and sunny smile!

🌸 Happy Grandparents Day! 🌸

Today, we honor the incredible wisdom, unconditional love, and faith-filled lives of our beloved grandparents. At Christian Care, we are so blessed to walk alongside so many who have spent their lives guiding generations with grace, strength, and prayer.

Proverbs 17:6 tells us, “Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.”
What a beautiful reminder of the legacy our residents continue to build every day.

To all grandparents near and far — thank you for your stories, your prayers, and your unwavering love. You are truly a gift from God. 💛
