Our Sunday school class is led by elders and members from both First Christian Church and Beargrass Christian Church!

We are so grateful for the legacy partnerships with these two congregations. The Minary Class has been meeting at Chapel House since 1979! Even before that, the class had its origin at First Christian Church when that congregation met at Fourth and Breckinridge St.

Thank You to Larry Smith and the Elders and Volunteers of First Christian Church of Louisville for our Spring Fling!

Following a history spanning over 140 years of collaboration between First Christian Church of Louisville and Christian Care Communities (formerly Christian Church Homes). We continue to be grateful for our supporting churches' care and commitment. Nearly 50 years ago, Minary Sunday School classes were led by Elders of First Christian Church in Chapel and Friendship House, and this tradition continues today with First Christian and Beargrass Christian Churches leading classes. This collaboration has spanned time and on Sunday, May 17th our residents were again blessed by First Christian Church Elders, Volunteers, and Reverend Amanda Wagoner-Meade.

Over 200 of God's most senior children enjoyed home-cooked food to include amazing hamburgers, hot dogs, and bratwurst all provided by Church Elders. In addition to wonderful food and fellowship, Elder David Smith coordinated the " The Brass Pack" sharing amazing musical talent that had that same group of God's most senior children dancing the afternoon away.

We are so grateful to each of you, who blessed residents of Friendship and Chapel House on Sunday and your faithful commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults!
