GONE FISHIN!!!.....It was a beautiful day in Louisville and a perfect day to wet a line. A couple of gentlemen from Symphony at Valley Farms wanted to test the waters so we loaded up and headed out. Our Engagement assistant and the Executive Director took these gentlemen to a local park. They were accompanied by a friend from Select Rehabilitation and the weather was perfect! Fish weren't biting but no one seemed to mind.

🩺💛 Why do we love National Nurses Week? Because we want to thank our nurses for delivering expert clinical care and supporting whole-person wellbeing for residents every single day. Their presence brings comfort, stability, and confidence to our residents and those who love them. National Nurses Week gives us the opportunity to pause and recognize the incredible impact they have within our community.

Today is an opportunity to celebrate the vibrant culture, traditions, and heritage that so many of our residents and associates proudly share.

Recognizing and honoring these traditions helps create a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and connected.

And of course, sharing a meal together makes it even sweeter. (Fun fact: Americans enjoy more than 4 billion tacos each year!)

The first Saturday in May is special in Louisville Ky. It's DERBY DAY! But the fun goes on for two weeks leading up to the big race. Big hats, bright colors and festivities sweep through our city. The residents of Symphony at Valley Farms don't miss a beat because we bring the spirit of the Derby right to their doors. Not only did we sport the Derby attire, we made it. And racing,...our jockies live and work right there in the building. Our residents even made the horses! What an amazing 2026 Kentucky Derby Festival and Derby Day.
