balance., Louisville Ballet School's new health & wellness initiative! This program expands upon our current adult and complementary offerings with new classes, instructors and schedules. program at the Louisville Ballet School offers quality training in a variety of dance & fitness styles for the true beginner to professional-level dancer ages 15 and up. Our instructors are qualified to assess a
student’s level in class and to make appropriate recommendations upon request. classes are offered year-round on a schedule designed to accommodate the busy lifestyles. Students may register at any point during the year & registered students may attend as many classes as they wish, paying for classes only when they attend by purchasing single classes or a multi-class package. There is no registration fee, although each student must complete a registration form each year to maintain active status. Single classes are $15. Class packages are available for $55 (redeemable for 4 classes) or $130 (redeemable for 10 classes). Class packages are non-refundable and are valid for one year from the date purchased. Nicholas Bradley Gray will be joining mbb as the Introductory Ballet 1 instructor on August 16!
Nicholas reflects, "Nicholas fell in love with the "recreational and elective mover population" while teaching Adult Beginner Ballet classes for Grand Rapids Ballet School from 2021-2024 and for Grand Rapids Civic Theatre's School of Theatre Arts from 2022-2024. Nicholas brings with him the philosophy that the dance studio should be a safe, inclusive, accessible, and most of all, enjoyable space for all who enter!"

Announcing our mind. body. balance. Yoga Retreat held July 28-31 from 5:15-6:15pm and Summer Master Class from 6:30-8:00pm at our St. Matthew's Studios.
😳 Never tried Ballet? We have an Introductory level taught by Company Artist and mbb Program Manager Ashley Thursby that will slowly build ballet technique over the week JUST FOR YOU!
👯Dancing for years? Our Intermediate/Advanced offering taught by Company Artist Brienne Wiltsie Keehner will have you flying across the floor!
🧘♂️Wait, there's more? YES! This year we are offering a way to build more heat within our specialty programming with a Yoga Retreat taught by Company Artist Leigh Anne Albrechta. Find your flow by joining one or both offerings!

What a week!
We're all smiles as we look back at our sixth annual mind. body. balance. Adult Summer Intensive! This year participants had the opportunity to take daily technique and variations classes, as well as honing their skills at Jump Strengthening, Pointe Strengthening, Modern and Musical Theatre Jazz. We then balanced it all out with Yoga and GYROKINESIS®.

It's almost time for rehearsals to begin for Spring Dance Festival, and Ashley would love to create on YOU!
The choreography will explore how we face challenges and move forward together, set to the compelling music of Bach and Dustin O'Halloran.
If you aren't sure if learning choreography is for you, join us February 9 and 16 at our Variations Workshop to find out!

We launch our Fall Schedule on the MINDBODY app the week of August 12, 2024. We look forward to seeing you in both our mainstay offerings as well as some new additions!
Please note that some classes have shifted in day/time or instructor. Sheila Zeng will be shifting our evening Intermediate Ballet and Pointe Strengthening classes to Tuesday, and Joseph Nygren Cox will be leading the Wednesday morning Intermediate Ballet. Take note of Friday's NEW Musical Theatre Jazz offering with Daniel Scofield, as well as level shifts for Theresa Bautista's Sunday Contemporary Modern offerings.
