Sargent, M.A., CCC-SLP brings more than 15 years of experience in post-acute rehabilitation and senior living and leads with accessibility, collaboration, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. She oversees 40+ therapy clinics across the Western Carolinas and is known for building strong teams, supporting growth, and setting clinicians up for success.

Last week, our Therapy Program Directors from across the Senior Living Division came together in Charlotte, NC, for the Synchrony Annual Program Director Meeting where we spent time growing, connecting, and strengthening the work we do every day for our residents and community partners!

Together, we dove into leadership, clinical excellence, team development, and regulatory best practices, all focused on delivering the very best outcomes in outpatient senior living. It was wonderful to see our directors learning and collaborating with Trilogy Health Services and Synchrony Rehab leadership, all united by a shared commitment to exceptional care and empowered teams.

Our Therapy Departments were proud to take part in Fall Prevention Awareness Week last month, engaging residents in a variety of meaningful activities focused on safety and well-being.

From educational sessions and mobility checks to interactive games designed to build balance, strength, and coordination, our teams helped empower residents to move with confidence and reduce the risk of falls.

We’re thrilled to welcome Jennifer Boylan, COTA/L, as the new Area Manager for Synchrony Rehab's Outpatient Senior Living services in MI, IN, and OH.

With over 15 years of experience in Skilled Nursing and Senior Living, Jen brings not only clinical expertise but also a passion for empowering individuals to live their best lives. Inspired by her mother, a dedicated corporate nurse, Jen began her journey in Occupational Therapy and quickly grew into leadership roles where she could make a broader impact on patient care and team development.

Jen’s leadership philosophy is rooted in connection, compassion, and excellence. She is committed to helping every resident reach their full potential while supporting teams to deliver care that truly makes a difference. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and is on track to complete her MBA within the next six months.

Outside of work, Jen enjoys home renovation projects with her husband, spending quality time with family, and cheering on their favorite college football and NFL teams.
