Our residents enjoyed a festive fall-themed putt-putt challenge today — complete with mini pumpkins as obstacles! 🧡 This amazing golfer showed off his skills and scored a HOLE IN ONE! We love finding creative (and seasonal!) ways to stay active and have fun together. 🏌️‍♂️✨

🍂✨ Residents celebrated the first day of fall by creating their own beautiful door wreaths! It was a wonderful way to brighten up our community with fall cheer on this rainy day.

❄️ Today we wrapped up our Ageless Adventure with a chilly stop in Antarctica! Residents stayed cozy with hot cocoa, enjoyed fun games, and topped it all off with a sweet Ice Cream Social. 🍨✨

Day Six – Our adventure landed in Australia! Residents enjoyed a delicious lunch at Outback Steakhouse, sharing great food, conversation, and plenty of smiles. 🐨🍴
Day Five – Our Ageless Adventure took us to Africa! Residents enjoyed an exciting scenic drive through our community, complete with a fun scavenger hunt, and played Bus Bingo along the way. 🌍🚌

This week has been nothing short of amazing—filled with joy, laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories. ❤️ Thank you to our residents, families, and team members who made National Assisted Living Week so special. What a beautiful reminder that every day is an adventure worth celebrating together!

✨🎉 National Assisted Living Week – Day 4! We spent time today checking off dreams and celebrating life’s adventures with a fun round of Bucket List Bingo!

Residents shared stories, laughter, and plenty of “bingo!” moments. It was inspiring to see how many incredible adventures have already been lived—and how many more are still to come!

This activity reminded us that it’s never too late to dream big, try something new, and celebrate the journey together as a community. 🌟

🌏✨ National Assisted Living Week – Day 3! Today our community set off on an unforgettable journey through Asia, exploring its beauty, traditions, and spirit.

🏔️ First stop: The Himalayas! Residents virtually climbed Mount Everest while reflecting on both the literal and metaphorical mountains we’ve all faced and overcome.
🇮🇳 Next stop: India! We were welcomed with vibrant culture, flavorful tastes, engaging trivia, immersive virtual experiences, and a lively performance that brought India’s rich traditions to life.
🇯🇵 Final stop: Japan! We slowed things down with a relaxing session of Adventure Art, creating peaceful origami butterflies that captured the delicate beauty of Japanese artistry.

What an amazing day of culture, connection, and community—it’s a joy to celebrate this special week together! ❤️✨

🌍 National Assisted Living Week – Day 2: Passport to Fun! ✈️

Today, our journey took us to South America! ❤️

We began the day in Cali, Colombia, the Salsa Capital of the World! 💃🕺 Vitality Living Springdale Memory Care residents got their hearts pumping and their bodies moving while learning to Salsa dance — keeping the rhythm with maracas and tambourines. 🎶🥁

From there, we traveled to Argentina for lunch, where everyone sampled empanadas, black beans, and chili lime corn — and the reviews were unanimous… delicioso! 😋🌽

Next stop: the Amazon Rainforest! 🌳🐒 Residents took a virtual tour and marveled at the incredible animals that call it home. The parrots, with their stunningly colorful feathers, were the favorite of the day! 🦜 Inspired by what they saw, residents created beautiful parrot art using bright, colorful feathers. 🎨

To end our South American adventure, we returned to Argentina for dinner, enjoying a delicious meal of Pollo Asado or Carne Asado, Spanish rice, and fried plantains. 🍗🍌

What an amazing day of adventure and culture! After a good night’s sleep, we’ll be ready to head to Asia for Day 3 of our Ageless Adventure! 🌏✨

🌎💃 Day 2 of National Assisted Living Week took us on a colorful journey to South America!

Our residents designed vibrant carnival masks, enjoyed refreshing tropical smoothies, and even gave the lively samba dance a try. All the laughter, music, and bright smiles filled our building with joy—what an incredible way to celebrate together! ❤️✨

🌍✈️ National Assisted Living Week – Day 1: Ageless Adventure Begins! ✈️🌍

This year’s theme is Ageless Adventure, and Vitality Living Springdale Memory Care is traveling the world – 7 days, 7 continents! 🌎

Today, residents received their “Passports to Fun” and kicked off the journey in Europe! 🎟️✨

🖼️ First stop: Paris, France, where we visited the Louvre Museum and admired the world’s most famous painting – The Mona Lisa.

🚌 Next, we took a quick bus ride through the Chunnel to London, England just in time for afternoon tea, complete with delicious tea sandwiches, biscuits, wafers, and of course, Earl Grey tea. ☕🍪

🐂 Our journey continued to Pamplona, Spain for the Running of the Bulls – what an exciting adventure!

🍽️ Finally, we returned to France for a delightful dinner prepared by our talented chef, featuring Beef Bourguignon or Portobello Florentine Baguette with Pommes Purée (mashed potatoes) and Haricot Vert (green beans).

Our travelers are worn out from today’s adventure, but excited to head to South America tomorrow! 🌟
