While doing my favorite surgery today, a bunionectomy! The1st metatarsal head was blue in color (looks gray in this pic) just the cartilage on the medial and dorsal portion. So, just removed those portions of the cartilage and repaired the bunion and decompressed the joint. Patient is a professional ice skater…

These shoes are not to be worn if you have corns and calluses! They are not wide enough for bunions and not deep enough for hammertoes. Most have these in all colors too…
