When you get that call that this is Malignant melanoma. The lab called me directly. I knew this was not normal. but never seen anything like it. Nail looked like black macerated seaweed. Nail bed had black excoriations and sungual dried blood. Got patient into a surgical oncologist on Friday. 🙏❤️🙏

While doing my favorite surgery today, a bunionectomy! The1st metatarsal head was blue in color (looks gray in this pic) just the cartilage on the medial and dorsal portion.
