This weeks spotlight is all about Sarah Downs, Registered Medical Assistant & over our social media page! 💻🩺🫶🏻

Sarah works alongside Amber Wood, APRN & Amanda Peach, APRN. With almost 12 years of experience in this field, we are truly blessed to have someone like her on our team! 👩🏻‍⚕️👩🏼‍⚕️

🩷 Why she chose healthcare:
Sarah is very passionate about taking care of others. Growing up with her Grandparents & helping care for her Great Grandmother when she was young was a major asset to why she wanted to be in this field.

🌟 What she loves most about patients:
Being able to make someone’s day a little brighter & helping them through the hard times & the good. Building relationships with her patients, & them knowing that she truly cares, & knowing they can trust her with their care.

☕️ Go-to fuel:
COFFEE COFFEE & MORE COFFEE. She cannot function without her daily go go juice.

Labyrinth & alllllllll the Harry Potter’s 🪄

⏰ When she’s off the clock:
Being a Mom is what Sarah is most proud of, you’ll find her spending most of her time with her husband Alex & her two kids, Harlow & Dutton. She also enjoys spending time on the court coaching/playing volleyball, fishing & spending time in Lexington cheering on the Wildcats!

Today we are celebrating National Mental Health Provider Appreciation Day and lucky for us, we have one of the BEST!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there, the ones running on coffee and chaos (like myself), the grandmas who stepped in and raised us like their own, the bonus moms, the dog moms, and the moms just trying to survive bedtime one more night. 💐

Being a mother means showing up even when you’re exhausted, worried, overwhelmed, or touched out. It means loving people so hard it physically hurts sometimes. & somehow still making sure everyone else is okay first.

Today we celebrate the women who keep families going, hold hands through hard days, kiss boo boos, answer late night calls, and somehow always know where everything is. 😂

Today is Anti-Bullying Day & in healthcare, this one hits different.

Brooks Family Medical strives to lead with love & compassion. We show up every day to care for others, but let’s be real… the environment we work in matters just as much as the care we give.

Danielle works alongside Tracy Mathis, Tammy Johnson, and Melissa Elzey, and we’re lucky to have her. With 1.5 years in healthcare, she’s already made a meaningful impact on both patients and coworkers.

💙 Why she chose healthcare:
Danielle has a genuine heart for helping others. She loves being there for people, not just in her personal life, but making it part of her everyday work.
