KidSPOT is an group of highly skilled pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy professionals.

KidSPOT is an organization of highly skilled pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy professionals dedicated to improving the functional abilities of all children. Our therapists have a vision of delivering safe, effective and evidence-based therapy to all families and children facing disability or injury. Therapists utilize play to carry out child- centered and family-friendly interventions. Family involvement is a valued part of therapy in order to facilitate success and develop meaningful goals. KidSPOT therapists are also enthusiastic about children reaching a level of health and wellness appropriate for their age. KidSPOT therapists are committed to helping each child reach their unique potential in all skill areas.

With heavy but hopeful hearts, we begin a new week. While we navigate how to return to providing therapy in our clinic space, KidSPOT is focused on providing support to our community.

The area highlighted in orange was burned by the Marshall and Middle Fork fires on Thursday, December 30th. 1,000+ homes in our community have been lost or damaged. We are grateful that our clinic is still standing and beginning the work to return it to a warm, safe and inviting place for our families. KidSPOT's clinic will be closed January 3-7 and likely into the next week. We will be offering telehealth therapies and are working to establish a temporary location to offer in-person therapies. As a local Louisville business, our hearts are with our beloved families in Louisville and Superior that have been affected by fire. We have received an incredible outpouring of supportive messages and requests to help.

Tummy time milestones are not as well known as the major motor milestones, but tummy time is an important component of development in baby's first year. We outline what baby should be accomplishing in tummy time month to month. Our PTs believe on the tummy is the best place to build the foundation for these skills and beyond!
