Meet Our Patient of the Month Randall!

My name is Randall Weigum. I am a Deputy Chief with a metro area fire department. I had an occupational therapist tell me to try red light therapy. I had no idea it existed as an entire bed for the whole body. My wife found Apex Chiropractic through a Facebook ad for weight loss and told me about the benefits red light for joint pain. I have several surgeries including having my neck fused which has caused several nerve problems. When I did my assessment at Apex on May 22nd, Erin determined I should start with the gut cleanse program along with the red-light therapy twice a week on the fat loss setting.

During the program, I have lost 23 pounds and over 58". My joints no longer hurt most of the time, my Neuropathy is almost gone, and my blood pressure has dropped. Adjusting my eating habits was extremely challenging and after the first two weeks, I no longer craved the junk food I ate constantly. Watching and tracking what I eat has become second nature and the benefits to my gut health have far exceeded my expectations.

The guidance of Erin and Bryan has been invaluable with tips when I was struggling with cravings and plateauing on my weight loss. When I have my appointments, I can't wait to get to the office and feel the benefits of the red light therapy.

Over the past three months I have been diligently cared for and listened to regarding my chronic shoulder / upper neck pain. From the office staff, massage therapists and Dr. Ray’s chiropractic adjustments I have felt improvements each and every office visit. While Apex is a professional setting for chiropractic care the team goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and genuinely wanting your quality of life to improve.

This office provides several options outside the quote-on-quote “traditional” chiropractic office. My personal biggest concern was with previous experiences with chiropractors excessively torque through manual adjustments without X-rays. It was a pleasant surprise the initial visit started with an X-Ray to throw out any severe issues and learning about the thermal scanner that pinpoints inflammation.

Overall, I feel no problem recommending friends and family with similar pains to get an assessment and care from this great group of professionals. Thanks again
