Blake’s Pharmacy: Nearly 100 Years of History
Blake’s Pharmacy was established in the mid 1920’s, by Vivian Blake. Her father, Walter Blake owned a local variety store which Vivian continued as a Pharmacy, after graduating from Creighton University in 1925. Vivian was one of the first Female Pharmacists in the State of Nebraska. Blake’s Pharmacy has persisted as a Pharmacy, in the same building in Louisville, Nebraska, even after Vivian’s retirement in the 1980’s . Blake’s Pharmacy is now locally owned and operated by Kitran Geise RPh, also a Creighton University graduate. Kitran has been happily serving the Louisville Communtiy and surrounding area since 2006. She continues to grow her business by offering friendly, professional service and the highest quality medicines and health products.
