We are reaching peak bird migration in many parts of the United States. Remember to dim your lights for birds at night.

Artificial light is scattered across the landscape of the entire country, and birds are frequently attracted to building lighting, especially during inclement weather events during migration. Unfortunately, lights can cause confusion, disorientation, and exhaustion - directly impacting their ability to migrate. This simple act of turning off or dimming lights, can help save the lives of birds as they traverse across the country.

It's not ill-eagle, but dimming your lights isn't a birden. BOOM! We got bird migrations jokes!

A hummingbird flew right next to me today while I was feeding the birds and fish at a Beargrass Creek in Louisville (soft and hard corn,) it hovered twice inspecting a small orange tent peg that was about 4 to 5 feet off of the ground!
Now I would like more flowers there! :)
