When Ilse came to us for rehabilitation in recovery from an infection, she was dependent on others for all her mobility and only able to do a few hygiene tasks with maximum assistance. Physical and occupational therapists worked with her on strength and functional skills and helped her make progress in all areas! 😁👍

The Christmas fun keeps rolling! 🎄 On Wednesday, we had the pleasure of a hot chocolate and coffee bar ☕ provided by Caris Healthcare, a performance by the Seymour Senior Choir before lunch, a performance by K-Town Sound Choir at dinner, 🎵 and we topped it off with a delicious dessert bar! 😋

🎄 We kicked off our Christmas Celebration Week with Pajama Day, a delicious breakfast bar, and a fun performance from Christian Academy of Knoxville (TN)! One patient’s husband even surprised her by ordering brand-new pajamas so she could join in the fun; it was such a sweet moment that made the day extra special! ☺️

What a fun week! Thursday’s visit from Minis in Motion from Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding 🐴 was a highlight, and we closed out the week with temporary tattoos, ring toss, apple bobbing 🍎, and other great activities!

Special thanks to Caris Healthcare, Brookdale Sandy Springs, and Home Instead for coordinating such fun events with our building! 👏
