A mother’s love has a way of staying with us woven into our traditions, our memories, our laughter,
and even the quiet moments when we need her most.

This Mother’s Day, we remember the women who shaped our lives with their care,
strength, wisdom, and unconditional love. Though they may no longer be beside us in the way
they once were, their presence continues in the stories we tell, the values they passed down,
and the love we carry forward each day.

For all who are remembering, missing, celebrating, or honoring a mother this weekend,
may you find comfort in the lasting beauty of her love and the countless ways it
continues to live on.

When someone experiences the loss of a loved one, many of us worry about finding the “right” words.
Often, what matters most is simply showing up with sincerity, compassion, and care.

A few gentle reminders when supporting someone who is grieving:
• Say simple, heartfelt things like “I’m so sorry,” or “I’m thinking of you.”
• Listen more than you speak. Presence can be more comforting than advice.
• Offer specific help like a meal, a phone call, help with errands, or simply sitting beside someone
can mean more than you realize.

And just as importantly:
• Try to avoid rushing someone through their grief or offering easy answers.
• Avoid comparing one loss to another. Every relationship and every grief journey is deeply personal.
• Don’t let fear of saying the wrong thing keep you from reaching out. Kindness and genuine care
are rarely forgotten.

Grief is not something to be solved. It is something to be carried and no one should have to carry it alone.

Mother’s Day can carry many emotions when someone you love is no longer physically beside you. Grief has a way of reminding us how deeply we’ve loved and how deeply we still do.

This upcoming weekend, we invite you to honor the mothers, grandmothers, caregivers,
and women who shaped your life in whatever way feels meaningful to you:

• Light a candle in their memory
• Prepare a favorite family recipe
• Visit a place that holds special memories
• Share stories and photographs with loved ones
• Carry forward an act of kindness they would have been proud of

There is no “right” way to remember someone you love.

Whether today brings comfort, reflection, sadness, gratitude, or all of those things at
once, you are not alone in it.

Every life tells a story—and no two are the same.

The way we celebrate someone’s life should reflect who they truly were: their personality, their passions, their quirks, and the moments that made them unforgettable.

A meaningful service isn’t about fitting into a template—it’s about honoring a life lived in a way that feels personal, authentic, and real.

Because the most beautiful tributes aren’t “standard”… they’re one of a kind. 💜
