Hello Families of PPA & Louisville Community. I hope this message finds you & your family healthy & doing okay during this very difficult time. Thank you so much for your patience and flexibility the past couple of weeks as we have transitioned to Telehealth services.
If you have not heard from your doctor about their specific plans & schedule they should be contacting you soon. Please feel free to email your doctor directly with any questions. You can email by using your doctor's first initial, last name .com. I am also available to answer any of your questions at kbrowning@kmhelpingkids.com.
Unfortunately, we are operating with limited office staff working limited hours so it may take several days for phone calls to be returned. Direct emails will likely be returned sooner.
All of our psychologists are set up and providing Telehealth services for our current clients. Depending on the length of the COVID-19 crisis, we may open Telehealth to new patients in the future.
We are all maintaining our own unique schedules therefore emailing your doctor directly is the best way to communicate & schedule. Unfortunately, Dr. Franklin is unable to do Telehealth for testing due to the nature of the service. As of now, she is still working in the office with the appropriate safety precautions in place.
Please remember that if your child or teen is experiencing a potentially life threatening emergency please do not leave a voicemail or email as we can not get back to you quickly. Instead, call 911 or the Centerstone/Seven Counties Crisis Line at 1-800-832-5442 or 502-589-4313. Your pediatrician may also be able to assist you after hours.
We know this is a very stressful time for everyone. We are here to help any way we can! I hope to post updates & additional resources in the days ahead.
We must stay strong, especially for our children. Despite the uncertainty, this crisis will end, hopefully sooner than later. We WILL regroup and rebuild as a community, a nation and world.
