Happy more to explore Monday! We had some friends visiting this weekend, so we took a day trip to wander through some of Colorado and Manitou Springs. 🥾
Our first stop was understandably Garden of the Gods. This park is famed for its 300 million year old towering red rock formations, a dinosaur species discovery, and 15 miles of trails. 🏔️
We love taking visitors here because many of the main trail systems are paved and ADA accessible. On top of that, the access to natural beauty is unmatched. ✨

Happy Monday and a big Happy Anniversary to Dr. Annissa and her husband Tyler. They celebrated 10 years of marriage this weekend, and one way they did so was by attending the Candlelight Dinner Theater’s production of, ‘Hello, Dolly!’ They sure do miss the BDT, but had a wonderful first experience at . They have announced their next season of shows which include crowd pleasers such as Les Mis and Frozen. What an incredible way to experience local theater! 🎭

Happy Monday and welcome back from an unseasonably warm weekend. We beat the heat indoors for the majority of our break, but got a little nature reprieve in on Sunday. 🥾
We continue to be thankful for accessible outdoor activities here in Boulder county. Our hike of choice this weekend was Doudy Draw; a trail on the way to Eldorado Canyon state park. While there are some dog restrictions due to trail systems being multi use, muddy (at times), and single track, the notices are clearly marked so we can all responsibly enjoy our time outside. I know my experience wouldn’t be the same without my hiking buddy Norton. 🐾

Yesterday was International Women’s Day, and as a team of all women, we are happy to celebrate each other as well as the incredible women in our lives and communities who make the world infinitely better. 👸

Though we still have a ways to go when it comes to representation in many positions of power (for example, women make up a little over a quarter of Congress members and less than 10% of CEOs in the United States), we do not forget the strides women in history have made on our behalf. 💪

Happy Monday and Happy Dental Assistants week to our amazing DA, Seneca! Dental assistants make much of what we do in the office possible. And while we don’t need a specific week to thank them (we should every day), it is nice to have dedicated time to remember and celebrate what they do and who they are. 🦷
We are thankful for Seneca for the literal work that she does - she assists chairside, focusing on anticipating doctor needs while also ensuring our patients are comfortable and well cared for. She also manages setting up and tearing down operatories. She is an infection control guru who keeps all of us safe. 🧼
She helps to manage inventory to ensure we have the products and materials to deliver exceptional care. She advocates for our patients, doing intake and asking the questions that help cultivate lasting relationships and set expectations for delivering the standards of care our patients know and expect. 🪥
While the list can go on and on, we hope above all that Seneca knows how loved and appreciated she is. She is the true embodiment of a team member, and we are grateful to share the privilege of caring for others with her. ❤️

Happy Monday! It felt a lot more like Colorado winter this weekend, but with the sunny skies, we were still able to get outside. Dr. Annissa and her husband Tyler took both (!) fur babies for a hike on the backside of Chautauqua Saturday AM. 🥾
Though some trails in Boulder county have seasonal closures due to mud or snow pack, there are still plenty of systems to explore during the winter season. ❄️
We find that opting for some time outdoors keeps us feeling fit during the colder months - both mentally and physically. What is your favorite CO winter hike? 🏔️

Happy Monday! With Valentine’s Day being celebrated over the weekend, we hope you all felt the love. We are currently loving this familiar view over the top of Green Mountain in Boulder. We’ll take the nice weather while we can because we just KNOW snow is coming. ❄️💙
We contend that this is one of the best marked and maintained trails in all of Boulder Mountain Parks and Open Space, and we are so thankful for our rangers who keep it that way. 🥾

We are here with another installment of more to know Monday. Did you know that nearly 50% of Americans have gum disease? This inflammation mediated condition can wreak havoc on the working systems in our bodies.
Once the bacteria that causes periodontal disease invades our mouths, it is hard to get rid of it but usually reasonable to manage. If not controlled, major systems in our bodies can be damaged.

Though our temps in the Denver area were warmer than the likes of Miami and Tampa, our hometown hill continued to show off with cool temps and soft snow. 🏔️
Dr. Annissa had the privilege of taking a lesson this weekend at and conquered the elusive (to her) Alpenglow lift. 🎿
Learning any new sport or athletic skill as an adult can be tricky, but we are so very thankful to have the opportunity to learn and do in this great state. ⛷️🚡

A little palate cleanse to your Monday morning feed. The world has felt heavy over the last few weeks, and we are all feeling it. We were fortunate to experience some levity in spending time with friends at Westminster’s celebrating belated birthdays. 🦋
Seeing the butterflies nearly float in the climate controlled space was a gentle reminder that it won’t always feel heavy. And it won’t always be single digit temps outside. 🥶 Seeing the chrysalis’ helped us remember that change inevitably comes, but it only comes with hard work. 🐛
We believe we play a role in the health and safety of our community, and we believe that includes caring for all of our neighbors. These are the times we lean into each other, and we plan to continue doing just that with community care and outreach.
