Good morning and welcome to the Tuesday version of more to know Monday. We spent much of the weekend camping up in Dillon, CO. 🏔️

Perched at a cool 9,117 feet in the Rocky Mountains, Dillon, Colorado is an alpine paradise famous for its massive reservoir, endless outdoor adventures, and a fascinating underwater history. The original town of Dillon sits at the bottom of Lake Dillon! It was relocated in the early 1960s so engineers could build the dam and reservoir. 🌊

Massive Water Supply: Lake Dillon can hold a whopping 83 billion gallons of water and supplies the majority of Denver’s drinking water through an extensive tunnel system. 🚰

High-Altitude Sailing: Despite sitting nearly two miles above sea level, Lake Dillon features over 26 miles of shoreline and a marina that is perfect for boating, paddleboarding, and kayaking. ⛵️

Epic Early-Season Hikes: Trails like the Tenderfoot Trail are fantastic for getting outside early in the year, offering panoramic views of the water and surrounding mountain ranges. 🥾

Happy more to explore Monday! We had some friends visiting this weekend, so we took a day trip to wander through some of Colorado and Manitou Springs. 🥾
Our first stop was understandably Garden of the Gods. This park is famed for its 300 million year old towering red rock formations, a dinosaur species discovery, and 15 miles of trails. 🏔️
We love taking visitors here because many of the main trail systems are paved and ADA accessible. On top of that, the access to natural beauty is unmatched. ✨

Happy Monday and a big Happy Anniversary to Dr. Annissa and her husband Tyler. They celebrated 10 years of marriage this weekend, and one way they did so was by attending the Candlelight Dinner Theater’s production of, ‘Hello, Dolly!’ They sure do miss the BDT, but had a wonderful first experience at . They have announced their next season of shows which include crowd pleasers such as Les Mis and Frozen. What an incredible way to experience local theater! 🎭

Happy Monday and welcome back from an unseasonably warm weekend. We beat the heat indoors for the majority of our break, but got a little nature reprieve in on Sunday. 🥾
We continue to be thankful for accessible outdoor activities here in Boulder county. Our hike of choice this weekend was Doudy Draw; a trail on the way to Eldorado Canyon state park. While there are some dog restrictions due to trail systems being multi use, muddy (at times), and single track, the notices are clearly marked so we can all responsibly enjoy our time outside. I know my experience wouldn’t be the same without my hiking buddy Norton. 🐾

Yesterday was International Women’s Day, and as a team of all women, we are happy to celebrate each other as well as the incredible women in our lives and communities who make the world infinitely better. 👸
