Last week, Dr. Raj Patel from CPI, Austin had the opportunity to speak at WellMed Medical Management, Inc. Monthly APC Forum.

He shared insights on how we’re bridging the gap between injections and surgery for pain management, offering options like radiofrequency ablation, the MILD procedure, and spinal cord stimulation. These minimally invasive treatments can often provide relief without the need for traditional surgery, potentially leading to shorter recovery times and a quicker return to daily life.

Please join us in warmly welcoming Dr. Gretchen Crook to our team at Capitol Pain Institute! As a Clinic Physician—part of our new model for personalized, patient-centered care—Dr. Crook will be serving at both our North and South Austin clinics.

With 23 years of experience in family medicine, she specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of chronic pain conditions. Starting November 10, she’ll be seeing patients and working closely with our interventional pain physicians to develop tailored treatment plans, including advanced procedures, therapy, and more.

We’re so excited to have Dr. Crook on board and look forward to the compassionate, comprehensive care she’ll bring to our community! 😊
