What is Vedic Thai Massage?

Vedic Thai massage is a bodywork modality known as assisted yoga. It stems from the ancient cultures of Tibet, Thailand, and India and is known for its multidimensional healing approach to various aspects of the body throughout the sequences expressed. It is performed on fully clothed clients on the table or a futon on the floor.

We hope this note finds you safe and healthy in this time of the Coronavirus. We wanted to reach out to you today to let you know where we stand with reopening. We have been in contact with the Massage Therapy Licensure Board and have been told,

“The Kentucky Board of Licensure of Massage Therapy and massage therapists do not fall under the reopening guidelines for chiropractic offices or other healthcare facilities.”

We were also informed that the Board is working with the Governor’s office to develop a plan and guidelines for when we are allowed to reopen our practice. We will keep you informed as we are instructed from our Board.

Until we can see each other again, stay safe and healthy.

Hello everyone. Just to let you know, Collette and I are planning to remain closed until the first week of May as of this point. If you had an appointment scheduled we will be contacting you shortly. We feel it is of the utmost importance to follow all the recommendations from our governor and the CDC and we pray that this virus will run its course quickly. To all of our clients:

As you are all aware, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is now among us here in Kentucky. In light of this, we would like to address a few things with our clients as to when they should NOT come in for their session.

If you have any of the following, whether it is due to a common cold or COVID-19, please call your therapist and cancel your session. You will never be billed for cancelling day of if you are sick.

Any type of fever, no matter how low-grade it is.

If you have been coughing.

If you have been having difficulty breathing.

If you are congested by more than just normal allergies.

If you have a sore throat.

If you have been around anyone who has had a fever or been coughing.

We promise to not work on any of you if we have any of the above symptoms. We are committed to the safety and well-being of each of our clients and ourselves.
