The Louisville Nimble Thimbles Quilt Guild took over Quilted Joy for a day of quilting magic! Using the APQS longarms, we finished 63 quilts for our Cuddle Care program, which donates quilts for Norton Children’s Hospital.

On Wednesday we thank all the wonderful hands that helped us cut batting, load the long arm machines, & started quilting. We are ready for those that are coming Thursday to help sew throughout the day!

We had a GREAT group of members again on Thursday to long arm the quilts. For many this was their first time with long arm experience they thoroughly enjoyed it! We had a mixture of “seasoned” quilters who helped those that were a bit more needy. A HUGE thank you to them as well as to those that came to give us all moral support.

Quarterly Business Meeting (This will include business from the 2nd quarter meeting which had to be cancelled and the 3rd quarter business meeting.)

Notion Night. Have you inherited any mystery notions? Have a drawer full of bits and bobs you never use? We will work together to identify obscure tools, and swap to those who will actually use them! Think you can stump the group? Gold star for the most obscure notion! There will be a swap table set up, so this is the time to clean out any items in your sewing room that you wish to pass on.
