Thank you Luann for teaching the Bojagi technique at Thursday's day meeting. This technique resembles the flat felled seams used in garment making. The result is an enclosed seam with a double row of top stitching.

Here is the reminder for the Thursday day meeting at The Tway House, you are welcome to join us:

November 20, 2025; 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Bojagi

Bojagi is an ancient Korean textile art form. A traditional bojagi consists of many small pieces of fabric sewn together in a technique resulting in sealed seams, making the cloths
reversible. Luann will demonstrate how to make a modern bojagi “stained glass” project using a home sewing machine instead of the traditional hand stitching. Bring basic sewing supplies and scraps of batik fabrics 5” or larger.

Last night five female veterans received a LNT Patriot Quilt. Linda presented her usual entertaining introduction of each recipient. The quilts were beautiful and we thank each veteran for their service.

My First Quilt at South Central Library Saturday November 8th. Enthusiastic students, Moms, babies, experienced quilters and Robbie with her machines came together for a very rewarding experience. Thank you Stephanie for your organization and door prizes!

Second day documenting quilts at the Filson. It has been a great time looking at beautiful vintage/antique quilts. Today (Friday) will be our last day to complete a total of 70-80 quilts entered into the Quilt Registry. The LNT quilt was made in 1980 and is now in the registry.
