Asking for help can be scary because someone might deny our needs, fail to follow through, or judge us for being “weak.” At least, that’s what we think will happen.
Try asking for help with little things first and see what comes up for you. Is it a fear of lack of control?? 🤔 Hmmm… that sounds familiar!
Help can look a lot of different ways: delegating tasks to others, backing out on previous obligations, literal assistance with a current task, a shoulder to cry on, and ear to vent into. Figure out the specifics and try asking. You might be surprised. 😮
