Despite Kentucky politicians claims that HB90 will help clarify when doctors can provide emergency abortion care, the reality is it remains dangerous and life-threatening to be pregnant in Kentucky. Notably, it did not add exceptions for survivors of r**e or in**st, it keeps felony charges in place for doctors, codified non-medical language, and leads to more confusion and barriers to care.
Health care decisions must be returned to patients and their doctors.
