A Kentuckians recent story: At 24 weeks, due to medical reasons, we faced the difficult decision to end our much-wanted IVF pregnancy—it was our last embryo. Because of Kentucky’s abortion bans, we had to search across the country for the 2nd-trimester care we needed. This is just one example of how cruelly Kentucky politicians interfere in reproductive health decisions. No family should ever have to endure this.

She chose abortion—but Kentucky’s ban forced her to travel out of state alone. Because of this, she was unable to receive the pain management she preferred. The cost hit hard, pushing her family to sell work equipment. Because of Kentucky’s abortion ban, Stacy endured unnecessary hardships that interfered with her ability to do what was best for her family. No one should have to go through what Stacy did.
