Meet Pilates Instructor Erica!

Erica is a contemporary Pilates instructor , blending classical movement with modern flow. She recently joined the studio, bringing over a decade of group fitness teaching and a passion for Pilates with her.
In addition to teaching Pilates, Erica is also a Les Mills BODYPUMP instructor, a certified TRX coach, and trained in aqua fitness. Her background in strength training allows her to focus on form and technique .
Applying the nine Pilates principles helps her guide her clients to reaching their goals.

When she’s not teaching, Erica spends time with her dogs, volunteers for two rescue groups, and can often be found taking classes herself.

Erica is available by appointment for private and semi -private lessons, and will be adding some pop-up classes on the schedule throughout the upcoming year.

Meet Kristen!

Kristen discovered Pilates later in life, and as a Polestar-trained instructor, she’s passionate about sharing the joy of reconnecting with your body through movement. She joined Core Pilates & Yoga earlier this year with eight years of teaching experience and is grateful to have found a studio that values community. She finds her greatest moments of fulfillment in the studio when she’s able to support consistent clients in their goals.

Kristen’s training includes helping clients work safely around past injuries and she enjoys watching them grow stronger and more confident in their Pilates practice. There’s work in the basics and finding that work prepares you for the next exercise progression. Her Polestar training emphasizes creative visual cues and thoughtful guidance that help each client feelthe movement and find success in their own way.

Kristen also believes Pilates isn’t about what the person next to you can do; it’s about making the time to connect with your own body as it changes through the many stages of life. She teaches Saturday reformer classes, offering options for both experienced movers and those new to Pilates, and strives to connect with people of all ages, believing that Pilates truly is for every body and it’s never too late to start.

Kristen teaches group classes every Saturday.
