Unfortunately, with continued power and internet outages, we will be closed Monday, March 6th. We have done our best to alert our patients of our closure. If we have had to cancel your appointment due to this closure, we will be contacting you to reschedule as soon as our power and internet services are back online. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

As of March 5th at 9:00am, we are still without power. The estimated restoration is March 6th at 8:00pm. We will continue to monitor the situation and update here when available. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We hope all our patients and families are safe during this difficult time.

I am happy to report that we can reopen next week. It has been a long couple months and I have been very proud of Kentucky and how our state has handled this pandemic.

As I look to reopen the office, there is need for many changes to happen to ensure the safety of everyone in our office. Below are some guidelines that we all need to follow to help support the reopening of our state and the health of our community.

1. Prioritize Telemedicine: If we can conduct an office visit by phone or video, that is the best option. Our office will call you the day before your scheduled appointment and review your options with you.

2. Patient Screening and waiting room: a phone call on the day before your appointment will be made to you. If you are coming in to the office, you will need to be open with us and let us know if you are sick or have a fever, or have had a fever in the last 3 days. Your temperature will be taken when you enter our office. A mask MUST be worn the entire time you are in the office. When you arrive at the office, please call and let us know you are here. We will call you back when we are ready for you to be put in an exam room. Anyone presenting for COVID 19 testing, with or without symptoms, will be seen in their car.

3. Bloodwork lab appointments: if you are coming in for bloodwork to be drawn by our Labcorp phlebotomist, please come in to the office with your mask on. We will take your temperature before being taken back to the lab. Again, bring a mask with you and wear it at all times.

We are taking every precaution in the office and in the exam rooms to keep the area COVID 19 clean. Currently appointment times are only until 11:30. We will adjust our schedule on a weekly basis, depending on orders from the Governor and how everyone adjusts to our new policies.

Thank you!

Dr. Nolan is certified in the use of Havening Technique. This is a psycho -sensory treatment that uses gentle touch to eliminate unwanted feelings, physical and emotional, stemming from distressing past events and memories. As such, anxiety and panic attacks can often be greatly reduced - phobias can oftentimes be completely resolved. The nice thing about this particular technique is that it does not involve an in-depth discussion of the past traumas. In fact, the actual content of the traumas does not even have to be divulged.

Dr. Nolan is certified in the use of the Recode Protocol which is a directed way of changing one's lifestyle, removing inflammatory, toxic or infectious roadblocks and optimizing one's chemistry such that the brain is able to shift from a process that is diminishing one's cognition to a process that enhances it. By following this protocol one can reverse cognitive decline and prevent the progression to Alzheimer's Disease.
