Necco goes above and beyond to support its independent living youth by making sure their apartments are not just functional, but truly livable. They provide essential furnishings and bedroom basics. On top of that, Necco even helps stock the kitchen with groceries if needed, along with cleaning supplies to keep the space comfortable. It’s a generous and thoughtful approach that helps young people feel at home as they take steps toward independence.

As a full-time student at the University of Kentucky pursuing dual degrees in criminal justice and political science—with aspirations of law school and a future in public service—Aaron balances academics, work, and a social life with remarkable focus. After entering Necco through an emergency protective order, he embraced their Independent Living program and transitioned into having his own apartment.

Necco helps ease the stress of adulthood, allowing Aaron to stay focused on his goals. His story is a powerful reminder that turning 18 doesn’t mean facing everything alone.

Golden Egg Giveaway!
Necco has hidden a Golden Egg somewhere out in the community — and it’s your mission to find it! Inside the egg are some goodies along with instructions on how to claim the full prize. But first... you’ll need to crack the clues 🕵️‍♂️🐣

To start your hunt, you may need a car,
The egg is waiting not afar.
In a place with hills and rivers wide,
Where “Jefferson” is worn with pride.
A county known for scenic views —
