Are you overdoing it with supplements? If you’re like so many of my clients, the answer is probably yes!
It’s totally understandable, though. We are being sold to online all the time. I often joke with clients that our algorithms know us all TOO well 😳.
They know we’re going through perimenopause, or experiencing weight gain, or anxiety. So the newest, most trendy supplements show up “miraculously” in front of our face everywhere we look.. and that natural human curiosity (and sometimes desperation 🥵!) of, “whoa! Maybe I NEED this?!” pops up, so we buy, buy, buy! 💸
The downside to this is not only that we waste a lot of money and mental energy, but that our digestive systems in our sensitive bodies simply can’t handle swallowing this many pills every day.
Ayurveda has spoken for 5000 years about the importance of “agni” or digestive fire 🔥. This concept encompasses your appetite, your metabolism, your absorption of nutrients, your microbiome, and gut health, and so much more.
And unfortunately, one of the quickest ways to damage and compromise. The efficiency of your agony is taking too many supplements!
