We also seek to prevent depression through education and by creating a supportive and caring community through support groups that successfully keep individuals from relapsing into depression. We aid in the PREVENTION of depression relapse or recurrence by promoting information and resources helpful for those suffering from depression. We ADVOCATE and resource for persons depressed, including fami

lies and spouses of persons suffering from depression. We INFORM mental health / medical health care professionals on the availability of self-help groups for persons depressed.
