Kentucky Coalition for Aging Resources and Empowerment KCARE (formerly known as KAHCF/KCAL/KSLA) advocates, educates, and promotes Kentucky’s long-term care facilities and assisted living communities

Established in 1954, the Kentucky Coalition for Aging Resources and Empowerment (KCARE, formerly KAHCF/KCAL/KSLA) is the trade association that represents propriety and nonproprietary nursing facilities and personal care homes across the Commonwealth. One of the state affiliates of the American Health Care Association, KCARE provides a wide variety of services to member facilities including legislative and regulatory activities, professional development, statewide recognition programs, publications, media relations, research and advocacy relations.

CMS plans to release the yearly updates to the MDS once again on October 1st of this year. This webinar will provide a comprehensive review of the new, revised and re-organized information on the MDS Item Sets and in the RAI manual to help you prepare for these revisions.
