Issues with Scheduling Appointments

It has recently come to my attention that a significant number of patients have attempted to schedule an appointment online without confirming their appointment. Our schedule is very flexible, and we are more than happy to accommodate you and ensure that you receive the care you need when you present to our office. However, we would still like to make sure that you are properly scheduled.

I believe most of the recurring scheduling issue resides in the recently updated user interface within the app/website. The new updated interface includes an extra step or two when officially scheduling an appointment. Like most things in our modern, technological times, once we get accustomed to something, it inevitably changes into something different.

For your convenience, I have included a step-by-step instruction on how to schedule an appointment properly, accompanied by pictures:

1) Go to our website and click on the 24/7 Appointment Scheduler button, which will take you directly to our Square Appointment Scheduler. If you would prefer, Square also has an app available to download in the App Store called Square Go. This new app makes managing your appointments even easier! I know many of you have had difficulty rescheduling and or cancelling an appointment if needed. Instead of searching for old text messages and emails with the details of your appointment, the app itself will store all the necessary information regarding your future appointments. I HIGHLY recommend downloading the app. The app icon looks like this:

2) Once you are in the scheduler, select the appropriate kind of appointment relevant to you and then click the blue “Add” button.

3) The interface will then ask if you would like to add more to your appointment. At the bottom of the screen, you will see your selected appointment option, and you should click the blue “Next” button.

4) The next screen will show you all available dates and times for your appointment. Select an appointment time.

5) ***MOST IMPORTANT STEP (I believe this is what many patients are missing). After you select a time, it will take you to the “Checkout” screen with the details of your appointment. You must SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN and click the blue “Book Appointment.”

6) You will then be taken to a screen that displays a message thanking you for your appointment. You will also receive a text and or an email confirming that your appointment has been accepted. This is the final step, and your appointment is now officially scheduled and confirmed.

Office Closed January 17th - 24th

Greetings! We hope you have stayed safe and warm throughout this harsh winter weather. We have an upcoming extended closure to our office at the end of this week. Our office will be CLOSED on Friday, January 17th - Friday, January 24th. We will reopen to normal office hours on Monday, January 27th.

We need to allow another day for the plows to clear the roads to help make travel conditions safer. Because of this, our office is extending our hours this week to allow more patient appointments.
