The atmosphere was truly magical as cellist Cecelia Swanson filled the overlook with graceful, romantic music—adding the perfect touch of elegance to the evening. It was a night of connection, celebration, and shared joy—everything we cherish at Village Crossing.

Valentine’s Day Happy Hour at Village Crossing! Our community had an incredible time celebrating the season of love at our Valentine’s Day Happy Hour! Residents enjoyed delicious cocktails, mocktails, chocolates, and sweet treats, all in the company of friends and festive cheer. The afternoon came alive with live music from Rob Brown and Richard Malone, filling the room with beautiful melodies and creating the perfect Valentine’s atmosphere. A special thank you to Bluebird HomeCare for bringing fun Valentine’s sticker activities, adding a playful touch that everyone enjoyed! Events like these remind us how meaningful it is to come together—sharing laughter, good music, and joyful moments that uplift the mind, body, and spirit.

Our billiard table just got a well-deserved glow-up! We’ve replaced the felt, re-levelled the table, and added brand new cue sticks — because missed shots should be about skill, not faulty equipment. 😉 Everything is now prepped and ready for our upcoming Manager’s Billiards Hour, starting in March. We’re looking forward to smooth shots, friendly competition, and plenty of “I swear it looked lined up” moments. 😄 At Village Crossing, we love keeping our spaces fresh, fun, and ready for connection — and this table is officially ready for action. Rack ’em up! 🎱💙

It was a party at Village Crossing last night as residents gathered to watch the Super Bowl — and what a great time it was! Fans of both teams showed up, the energy was high, and there was plenty of playful back and forth as the game unfolded. 😄🏈

A huge thank you to Lighter Hearts Home Care for providing the food for the party. The spread was a hit and helped make the night even more enjoyable for everyone. We love any excuse to celebrate here at Village Crossing, and the Super Bowl is always a favorite for our sports fans. From great food to great company, nights like this remind us how special our community truly is. Already looking forward to the next party! 💙

Super Bowl Ready at Village Crossing! A huge shout-out to our manager, Stephen, for getting our brand-new lounge TV all set up just in time for the Super Bowl this weekend! Thanks to his help, our residents will be enjoying the big game in style—with a crystal clear screen, comfy seating, and plenty of excitement in the air. We’re looking forward to cheering, snacking, celebrating, and enjoying the fun together as a community.

One of our favorite spaces at Village Crossing is our Art Gallery — a place filled with creativity, color, and the incredible talent of our residents. We recently refreshed the gallery and celebrated with a grand re-opening, complete with sparkling cider and red velvet cookies (because art is always better with snacks). 🥂🍪 But as lovely as the refreshments were, the true stars of the show were our resident artists.

Each piece on display reflects imagination, skill, and personal expression, and we are so proud to showcase the creativity that lives within our community. Walking through the gallery is a reminder that talent has no age limit and that self-expression continues to grow and evolve. Thank you to our residents for sharing your art with us and allowing Village Crossing to be a place where creativity is celebrated every day. 💙🎨

We recently tried out a new game with our residents because, let’s be real — who doesn’t love a good game? 😄 This time, we mixed things up with Vertical Co****le. It may have been a little more challenging than the traditional version, but that didn’t slow anyone down. Our residents jumped right in, embraced the challenge, and had an absolute blast. There were laughs, cheers, a little friendly competition, and plenty of impressive throws.

Moments like these remind us that trying something new keeps things fun, engaging, and full of energy. Whether it’s a classic favorite or a creative twist, game time at Village Crossing is always a good time — especially when our residents bring such great spirit and enthusiasm.
