Located in Louisville, Kentucky, Think Move Learn provides IN-HOME sensory integration/movement based therapy provided by a team of occupational therapists who help YOU to design a program tailored to you and your loved one's needs. By stimulating the vestibular and proprioceptive systems of the brain, new neural connections develop which facilitate integrated sensory processing and increased learning. Mostly known for sense of balance, this system also processes sensory input from our eyes, muscles, joints, fingertips, palms, soles of the feet, and gravity receptors. The vestibular system is involved in the regulation of heart rate, attention, muscle tone, breathing, digestion, and immune system response. The proprioceptive system manages spatial awareness, the brain’s ability to know where the body is positioned, and where it is going. Envision you or your child with:
