Friday I had the opportunity to represent Granny Nannies & Granny Nannies of Kentucky at Career Connections at Oldham County High School — the very school I graduated from.

This event, put together by the Oldham Chamber, connects local businesses with high school students as they explore career paths and future opportunities. It was such an honor to be back in those halls — this time on the other side of the table.

At Granny Nannies, we’re passionate about investing in the next generation. We’re currently connecting with students interested in:

• Internship opportunities
• Caregiver positions
• Gaining real-world experience in home health care
• Making a meaningful difference in someone’s life

✨ A New Chapter at Granny NANNIES NORTH ✨

Hello everyone! My name is Marisa Larkin, and I’m honored to introduce myself as the new owner of Granny NANNIES NORTH, proudly serving Oldham, Shelby, and Henry counties.

Granny Nannies of Kentucky has been a trusted name in the Louisville & Southern Indiana area for 19 years, and I’m grateful to work in conjunction with the Louisville & Southern Indiana owners to continue providing compassionate, dependable in-home care throughout our communities.

I officially joined the Granny NANNIES family in September of 2024, and it quickly became clear that this work aligns deeply with my heart. I have a true passion for caring for others and advocating for families—especially those who want to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. I see this need every day with neighbors, grandparents, and friends’ parents.

This mission is also personal. When my mom was passing away in 2017, I wish I had known about a company like Granny NANNIES. That experience drives my commitment to ensuring families today have the support, guidance, and compassion they deserve during life’s most challenging moments.

I’m excited for this next chapter and honored to continue the Granny NANNIES legacy of care. Thank you for trusting us with the ones you love. 💙
