i will be traveling to Mysore for the month of September to visit and practice with Saraswati and Sharmila Jois. September 11 is Saraswati's 85th birthday. There will be a party! If you are interested in coming along, don't wait too long to ask me about it. You need to make preparations. September is a lovely month in Mysore. We will have morning practice and chanting and can go site-seeing in the area. We will probably do a Temple Tour! I will post more on that later.

We recently received a box of supplement samples from Primal Queen, a company that has created supplements directed toward women's health. These products contain beef ingredients and, since we are a largely vegetarian/vegan community, we can't use them. Does anyone want them? Nakshatras are the 27 star clusters through which the moon passes in its monthly orbit. The nakshatras in Vedic astrology have a greater impact on our daily life than the 12 constellations.
