Congratulations to our legendary Social Services Director, Allie on being named TeamHealth’s Behavioral Health Champion! “What makes Allie a Behavioral Health Champion: Allie is a true advocate for behavioral health services for her residents. She knows the residents very well and organizes and facilitates the monthly IDT Psychotropic review meetings. Allie is in constant contact with the PMHNP and Therapist regarding any resident needs. Allie is also a great cheerleader for TeamHealth Behavioral Health.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves! Thank you for prioritizing the mental health of our residents today and always.

A celebration commemorating the vision of the Walking Path Project through Cherokee Park took place at the Cherokee Park Rehab facility parking lot. This milestone project has achieved significant progress, although additional work remains. The leadership, support, and donation of land to the city will facilitate the creation of a safe and accessible path to the park. The celebration occurred on Monday, May 11th, 2026, and was recorded for viewing on WHAS11 or YouTube.

It is so fitting to celebrate World Social Work Day and St. Patrick’s Day on the same day, as we are very lucky to have Allie as our Social Services Director! We are so thankful for Allie’s constant support, patience, and persistence that makes the impossible turn possible! Her never-ending compassion and expertise in her position makes her truly one of a kind. It may be hard to return all of the support she shows us in just one month, but thankfully we have 14 days to keep trying! Happy Social Work Day/Month, Allie!
