Due to inclement weather our office will have a late start tomorrow Thursday March 14th and will be open at 10:30am. If you have any urgent medical needs you can still reach our on-call physician by calling our main line and follow the prompts to reach an on-call provider.

Coal Creek Family Medicine will be closed on Friday 1/26 and Saturday 1/27 due to our system being down for an IT upgrade. Our office will be closed but you will still have access to our on call physician 24/7 by calling our main office number. We will re-open on Monday 1/29 for normal business hours.

Medication refills may take longer during this down time so please contact our office NO later than 3pm on Thursday 1/25 to request a medication refill. All refill requests received after 3pm Thursday will be taken care of on Monday 1/29.

Coal Creek Family Medicine is proud to serve our community during the exceptionally difficult time following the recent fires. We know many of our friends, family and patients have experienced significant loss. We are here to help. Coal Creek Family Medicine will be operating as normally as possible in the coming weeks as our community begins the difficult process of recovery.

For the week of January 3 our clinic will be operating 8a to 5p Monday through Friday and 9 to 12p on Saturday.

Some of our services such as routine checkups and wellness exams may be delayed for a period of time. If you have a previously scheduled appointment you may be contacted to reschedule as necessary.

Access to our clinic in Louisville may be different than normal. As of this writing our clinic can be accessed by traveling east or west on Dillon Rd and turning south on 88th. Access from 88th North at Health Park Dr is blocked.

You may encounter alternate routes or other delays and should provide yourself extra time to reach our clinic.

For a patient with severe or sensitive respiratory problems you should use discretion in visiting our practice. While we are confident that our practice is safe to visit individuals with extremely sensitive respiratory systems may experience symptoms as there is still smoke particulate in the area surrounding our clinic. For these patients we offer the option of telehealth visits as needed.

Busy Family Practice Office in Louisville seeking outgoing full time Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

Our office has a need for a Certified Medical Assistant. We are seeking a full-time experienced certified medical assistant for busy fast-paced family practice with several medical providers.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties include but are not limited to: rooming patients, vitals, point of care testing, EKG, medication refill, immunization administration, assist provider with procedures, suture removal, stocking rooms and supplies, and other medical assistant duties as assigned. Work schedule varies depending on provider’s schedule.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal Certified Medical Assistant will be self-motivated and a go getter. You will need to be highly organized, self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively. Being flexible to the environment, the providers’ and patients’ needs will be a must along with being a team player who is not afraid to jump in and help when and where you can.

Requirements

· Medical Assistant Certification required.

· Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program through an accredited school.

· Certified as a Medical Assistant through a state or national certification association.

· Two years' of medical office experience required.

· Ideal candidate will maintain professionalism while working in a fast-paced environment

· Exceptional communication

· Have the ability to multi-task and prioritize

· Professional appearance

· Strong communication skills

· NextGen experience highly desirable

· Positive and Energetic personality

· Need to have good work ethic

· Be reliable and be a team player

Job Type: Full-time

· Weekly hours range between 36-40 hours depending on patient’s need. Position does require one late night from 11:30-8pm and occasional Saturdays from 9am-12pm

Salary: Compensation negotiable based on experience level, we also offer a sign on and retention bonus after 90 days.

NEW PATIENT PORTAL IS ON THE WAY!

The current Patient Portal will be unavailable from April 15th thru April 19th. The new Patient Portal will launch on April 19th ! Patients that are currently enrolled will receive an invite to join the new Patient Portal via E-mail.

Coal Creek Family medicine is not yet able to offer vaccinations for COVID19 but strongly encourage our patients to receive the vaccine if given the opportunity.

We are currently applying through the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment to be able to offer this service to our patients and we anticipate we may be able to offer the vaccine as the immunization process enters Phase 2 of delivery. When we can deliver the vaccine, we will follow CDC and CDPH guidelines to ensure equitable delivery of the vaccines to the community. We are currently developing our workflows and devising the best methods of communication with our large population of patients. Coal Creek Family Medicine is happy to offer our patients a variety of COVID 19 testing options based on a patient’s specific circumstances. We offer testing through our car visit system to ensure minimal exposure for our providers and other patients.

Testing is by appointment only and requires assessment by one of our medical providers so that they can ensure appropriate testing is selected and results are delivered timely and accurately.
