Dr. Amy—— she was one of four in my first 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training —- 11 years ago. Congratulations!

Shout out to Dr. Amy for being selected as Boone Centrals distingished alumni for the Class of 2000.

“Founder and owner of The Healthy Back.
After graduating from the University of Nebraska with a B.S. in Exercise Science, Amy went on to Logan College of Chiropractic. There, she not only earned a second bachelor's degree in Life Science but also became a Doctor of Chiropractic.
She began her career in York as an associate chiropractor, but like many great stories, it eventually brought her home. Amy made the decision to open her own clinic in Albion, so she could be closer to her roots, her family, and, let's be honest, people who still remember her high school mascot. And let me tell you—Albion couldn't be luckier.
At The Healthy Back, Dr. Amy does it all. She specializes in Cox Activator and Diversified adjusting. She also offers Graston, acupuncture, and as if that weren't enough, she's a certified yoga instructor who teaches five classes a week. I don't know about you, but the only thing I do five times a week is wish I stretched more. But Dr. Amy's impact goes far beyond the clinic. She is a proud mentor through the Teammates program. She's also the creator of the Louis Hoppe Memorial Run, an event that not only honors her brother but gets the whole community moving-literally.
