Local courier company in search of a knowledgeable and professional mechanic to take over maintenance and operations of our 20-vehicle fleet.
This person will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the fleet from basic and preventative maintenance to analyzing & diagnosing problems. This person will utilize our fleet management software to keep accurate and detailed records for each vehicle. The ideal candidate for this position will have a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends. These vehicles are driven daily, so maintenance work will need to be done around the vehicle’s schedules. The ideal candidate will also be driven, self-motivated, a problem solver, and possess critical thinking skills. This person will be responsible for coordinating with our management when vehicles need to be taken out of service, large issues are detected, or additional personal are needed to achieve a job.

Responsibilities:
• Utilize Fleet management software to schedule, perform & record all preventative maintenance
• Perform regular diagnostic checks of all vehicles
• Analyze, diagnose and fix all issues
• Order, inventory and keep track of all parts
• Coordinate with management about vehicle usage

Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum 2 years professional auto service & diagnostic experience
• Must have reliable transportation to get to fleet yard
• Self-motivated and reliable
• Must have your own technicians’ tools
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be detail oriented and able to keep thorough maintenance records
