The residents of Riverbend celebrated the 4th in style with fireworks and great food. We can't thank our wonderful activity staff enough for their dedication in creating these experiences for our residents! (We just hope our maintenance team doesn't see the singed grass)

Many of the Riverbend staff have come from all over the country moving from New York, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Kansas, and California to help build an environment for our residents that feels like home-- each bringing some of their culture, stories, and good eats with them. We are proud and lucky to have all of our wonderful staff with us who contribute to our Riverbend family everyday!

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and our Riverbend Volunteers are having a blast creating artwork with our residents! We can't give enough thanks to the lovely folks who give their time to our Riverbend family. You are all greatly appreciated, and the smiles and laughter you bring is truly a gift.

Today we celebrated the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley by enjoying his famous burger... Our Kitchen crew cooked up these lovely rockin' orders which includes a burger topped with peanut butter, fried bananas, and bacon! Our residents said they "couldn't help falling in love" with these delicious treats!

The staff and families of Riverbend went on an adventurous quest to find the Golden Eggs hidden around our Riverbend Community. Luckily these intrepid travelers conquered the wizard's clues and found the eggs!

Today we honor our Vietnam War Veterans. At Riverbend we have the pleasure of learning and spending time with one of our friends Michael, who served in the U.S. Army as a Medic. After the war, Michael continued his service to others working as an EMT. Michael has shared his love of carnivorous plants, rock hounding, and endless humor with all who meet him. We are grateful for his presence in our Riverbend family, and thank all our Veterans for their service.
