In the new year I have added some additions to my yoga offerings, and excited to be sharing them with you! Soon I will post some on line and in person classes for Restorative Yoga, which is a practice of relaxing poses held for longer periods of time. This allows the body to relax, and open on its own. It is when we get into a relaxed state when the bodies para sympathetic mode happens. Living in stressful situations and environments keeps our body in the sympathetic or “fight or flight” responses. Stress is the number one cause of health issues.
The other addition I am adding this year will be sound bath immersions, that also adds in healing and puts us in a relaxed, meditative state, through singing bowls, chimes and gongs to name a few.
I will be offering many on line classes and mostly in the evening so that you can enjoy these practices in your own home and be able to rest afterwards, without having to go out and fight traffic, the weather, etc., and let the effects of the immersion take place.

I will start my first class mid to late February, and probably offer them on a weekly basis. If you want to host your own personal class at home with friends, I will also be happy to come to you!
