The Premier Pain Treatment Institute is one of the leading providers of pain management services in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas. We specialize in the treatment of pain caused by chronic medical conditions and cancer. Our goal is not only to provide pain relief, but more importantly to improve quality of life. With every patient evaluation, we develop a comprehensive treatment plan that will optimize your ability to regain lost function and relieve physical and emotional distress. Your plan of care will be shared with your other healthcare providers and therapists to help coordinate a team approach that will provide you with the best possible outcome. The board certified providers at PPTI are expertly trained to treat a wide variety of painful conditions affecting the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system. We treat many different disorders of the neck, mid back, and low back, including disc herniation, compressed nerves, and arthritis of the facet joints and sacroiliac joints. We offer cutting edge treatment options for arthritis and other conditions affecting the joints of the arms and legs. Common problems involving the nervous system that are commonly treated in our practice include Diabetic peripheral neuropathy, complex regional pain syndrome, pain following shingles, and chronic nerve damage from injuries. Our providers also have innovative treatment plans for patients that continue to suffer from pain following surgery, including neck and back surgery and total joint replacements.

Staff Spotlight - Emily Williams, Medical Assistant

Emily joined Premier Pain Treatment Institute as a medical receptionist in 2023, traveling to our different locations and helping to open our Middletown office when it was brand new. She left briefly to work as an Admin Assistant and Medical Records Specialist at Harmony Cares Home Health, bringing with her seven years of STNA experience in nursing homes.

Since returning to Premier Pain, Emily has taken on the role of Dr. Wesley Youngblood’s medical assistant. She shares that her favorite thing about working at PPTI is getting to be part of making each patient’s life better, seeing their progress, and hearing their success stories. She also shares that she loves her “amazing coworkers who endlessly support each other.”

When not at work, Emily can be found helping her boyfriend with his new business, spending time with her family, listening to music, reading, or hanging out with her chickens Henrietta and Dolly.

Staff Spotlight – Bre, Medical Receptionist

Bre joined the medical reception team at Premier Pain Treatment Institute in May of this year. Before joining us, she worked as a server at Red Robin, where she still picks up shifts when she’s able.

Bre says her favorite part about working at PPTI is the people. She shared that the coworkers who welcomed her, as well as Milo the company’s official mascot, made her feel supported from day one. She also enjoys the steady pace of the work and staying busy throughout the day.

Outside of work, Bre spends most of her time with her best friends and her boyfriend. She enjoys going to church, traveling, and spending time with her family.

We’re so glad to have Bre on team PPTI!

Staff Spotlight – Amber Ellis, Lab Technician

Amber joined the Premier Pain team in June 2024 after earning her phlebotomy certification. Prior to that, she was a stay-at-home mom and decided early in 2024 that she wanted to pursue a new career path in healthcare. She took the leap, completed her training, and we are fortunate to have her as part of our growing lab team!

When asked her favorite part about working at PPTI, Amber shared that she loves the three-day weekends and how friendly and supportive her coworkers are, something we know makes all the difference in the fast-paced clinical environment.

Outside of work, Amber stays busy with her husband, Zane, their two daughters, Trinity (9) and Kenna (3), and their dog, Bexley. Weekends often include cheering at sporting events, visiting the zoo, and traveling whenever they get the chance.

We’re grateful for everything Amber brings to the lab each day… her hard work, positive attitude, and commitment to our patients. Thanks for being part of the Premier Pain family, Amber!
