After this past week I’ve felt compelled by my integrity and my passion to create a space of safety within each session I offer to write you a note. I want to reaffirm to you that I voted for women’s bodily rights by voting for Kamala Harris. I will NEVER vote against your rights no matter the reason. If either of these do not align with your own, our journey together has run its course. If it has, please let me know so I can take you off my schedule. Misogyny, sexism and racism relies on our passivity and I am not a safe space for it in any way.

In the heart of a mystical garden, there existed a unique species of plant, unlike any other. This plant, known as the "Soulbloom," was fabled to grow both downwards, deep into the earth, and upwards, reaching towards the sky, simultaneously. The legend of Soulbloom was a beautiful allegory for the journey of personal growth and healing, embodying the essence of growing down to grow up.

As the seed of Soulbloom nestled into the rich, nurturing soil, it began the profound process of growing down. This initial phase mirrored the daunting journey of self-exploration and healing. The roots, tentative at first, delved into the depths, facing the uncomfortable darkness of the earth. This represented the courage one must muster to confront fears, past traumas, and unresolved issues. As the roots encountered rocks and hard soil, they learned to navigate around or through these obstacles, symbolizing the establishment of stability and resilience in the face of internal resistance and discomfort.

Through these challenges, the roots of Soulbloom extended deeper, gaining a profound self-knowledge and understanding of their true essence. This foundational work was akin to nurturing self-compassion, building resilience, and connecting to one's core, ensuring that the plant was grounded in its true self, unshaken by the external world. The journey of growing down taught Soulbloom patience, as the roots developed slowly, solidifying the plant's connection to the earth and its inner strength.

Simultaneously, as the roots ventured deeper, a miraculous transformation occurred. The Soulbloom began to grow upwards, its stem reaching towards the sunlight, symbolizing the externalization and manifestation of its internal growth. The visible progress of the plant, through its vibrant leaves and blossoming flowers, represented the tangible results of personal development. Each leaf and petal was an expression of the Soulbloom's authentic self, showcasing its unique beauty and sharing its gifts with the world.

As the Soulbloom grew taller, it stretched towards its goals and dreams, embodying resilience and adaptability in the face of environmental challenges. Its foliage, through flowers and leaves, connected with pollinators, illustrating the importance of reaching out and fostering meaningful relationships based on mutual growth and support. The impact of the Soulbloom on its surroundings was profound, as it inspired and uplifted others within the garden, contributing positively to the ecosystem.

The story of Soulbloom was a reminder that personal growth is a continuous cycle, much like the growth of plants. There were times when the plant focused on internal work, growing its roots deep into the earth, and times when it celebrated the visible progress and blossoming of its potential. The legend of Soulbloom inspired all who heard it, teaching that by embracing both the journey of growing down and the process of growing up, one could achieve a profound, holistic transformation, blossoming into their fullest potential.

Good to know!

Joints crack, it’s weird, but why does it happen?

We can have a disease and not be ill.
We can be ill without having a disease.
Illness can be spiritual discomfort.
Spiritual discomfort can cause illness.
When we forget our spiritual path(which too can be part of our spiritual path) we are unable to utilize our spiritual resources.

Health is experiencing an overarching balanced life with a quality of stillness that only comes from being centered within.

Healing In Sanskrit swasta means to be stabilized in oneself.

We heal moving towards the things we deeply desire/need. As we courageously re-work the patterns in our lives that aren’t ours or that we’ve picked up on the way that don’t serve us any longer. We need to open to ever greater levels of our own self-understanding. Often the ability/desire to change and heal are hidden or blocked deep down within our subconscious and need assistance to find/shift.

Healing Involves;
-Education
-Re-assessment of our needs/desires
-Re-examining the structures of our lives
-Maybe even changing our living conditions

This is the healing journey and what I’m here, in service, to support within my clients.

I’m not here to make my clients happy or to fix them. I’m here to mirror back to you within sensation, movement or word what territory you are in at this time, through the vehicle of your body. Within our body we can not lie.

There is within each ‘choice point’ a journey to be made. I’ve been working with these choice points with my clients primarily through more unconscious questions using sensation or movement.

My intention this season is to start bringing these choice points to the level of conscious word with my clients. This excites me, but also it scares me. In order to do so for my clients I must be able to do so for myself. Not mastery, but a sort of familiarity with these waters are needed. I must be able within my body, my nervous system, have the ability to invite, embrace, communicate with and let go or hang on as needed of that which is also within me at this level. I must do the work too.

This work heals us together. You aren’t alone.
