I want to take a moment to thank all of the first responders working on the fires over the last weeks. I’ll never forget how crazy the first day of the fire was. As an EMT listening to the radio on the ambulance, I was becoming more stressed by the minute. I can only imagine how all of the units responding to the fire felt. Once an event like this is over, we first responders rarely put in the effort to restore our nervous systems, because we’re wired to take care of everybody else.
There is so many ways that we can take care of ourselves and each other. Some ways we can destress after events that shock our nervous system are meditation, exercise, a simple epsom salt bath, HANGING OUT WITH A PUPPY🐶At Vital Touch I know first hand how important it is to take care of ourselves after huge shocks to our nervous system, which is why I offer %20 off to all first responders for massage and Reiki sessions. It is my goal to help first responders live in bliss and be free from pain. A huge huge thank you again, to all the amazing firefighters that worked overnight to stop the fire.
